Error content

The slave board for wiring-saving of the wrapper is abnormal.

Detail

A communication error has occurred between the parent device (P-1105: A200 lower right) of the wrapper control board and the child device (P-1105: A100 upper left, A300 lower left).

The sub-error has the following meanings:
 

<Without POP printer>
0000: Communications between both A200 and A100, A200 and A300 are abnormal.

0001: Communication between A200 and A300 is abnormal.

0002: Communication between A200 and A100 is abnormal.

 

<With POP printer>
0000: Communications all between A200 and A100, A200 and A300, A200 and A400 are abnormal.
0001: Communications both between A200 and A300, A200 and A400 are abnormal.
0002: Communications both between A200 and A100, A200 and A400 are abnormal.
0003: Communication between A200 and A400 is abnormal.
0004: Communications both between A200 and A100, A200 and A300 are abnormal.
0005: Communication between A200 and A300 is abnormal.
0006: Communication between A200 and A100 is abnormal.

 

The following CAN communication has not been established:

P-1105 [A100] (XJ5) - P-1105 [A300] XJ4

P-1105 [A300] (XJ5) - P-1105 [A200] XJ5

The harness is sequentially connected to the main board A10 upper right → A300 upper left → A100 lower left → A200 lower right (A400 lower right for POP), but communication is conducted from A200. It is possible that the RS485 communication is abnormal.

Short-circuiting of XJ7 is used for the board number recognition.

In case of this error, the RS485 communication between P-1163 and P-1105 A200 is established.

This means that RS485 and CAN harnesses are not disconnected.

However, disconnection may occur between P-1105 [A200] and P-1105 [A400] when a POP printer is connected.

Solution

Turn on the power again.

Relevant locations

    P-1105 [A100], [A200], [A300]

    Pin 23 and Pin 24 at XJ7 of P-1105 [A100] should be short circuited.

    Pin 21 and Pin 22 at XJ7 of P-1105 [A200] should be short circuited.

    Pin 21 and Pin 22 and Pin 23 and Pin 24 at XJ7 of P-1105 [A100] should be short circuited.

Remarks

First, confirm that XJ7 of each board is connected.

When all are connected, there is a high probability that the board is defective.

This has nothing to do with software. (A different error will occur if the software is not installed.)
